Re: New Sawfly Entry Required
Charles,
The rare Nematine Sawfly (Symphyta); Nematus pseudodispar has been found this year in Scotland - see the report at:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/earth/hi/earth_ne … 163014.stm
A new entry needs adding for this sawfly:
- Nematus pseudodispar - Sorry but currently I cannot track down the Author or Date.
Just found it in AD Liston's "Compendium of European Sawflies" (1995) where Andrew shows it as:
- Nematus pseudodispar (Lindqvist, 1969): Pteronidea - and lists it as being found in Finland with host plant being unknown.
