Re: Built-in variables

Are built-in variables for use in XML Reports such as @UserId documented anywhere?

Hi Charles,

Not sure about @UserId, do you mean CurrentUserID? This is documented in the format documentation available here: http://www.jncc.gov.uk/page-4907

Charles

The user ID is obtained using a special type  (CurrentUserId) in the Condition tag. It is also documented in my XML help system. www.lfield.co.uk/dowloads/R6XMLHelp.zip. Search for 'current user'.  You have probably seen it being used to assign the current user id to a variable @UserId, which is then used elsewhere in the batch update or report.

Re: Built-in variables

Thanks Mike, you got it spot-on: it is CurrentUserID I was after and I had indeed seen @UserId being used in the way you describe.
