We had an equipment failure at the end of last week on the rather old server that was hosting the Species Dictionary Website, so this is currently offline. We hope to have the service back up and running within a day or so.

In the meantime, you can check a fair amount of taxonomic information using the 'taxonomy pages' on the NBN Gateway. We do have back-ups so no data has been lost, but we do have to set up the web application on a new machine using later versions of operating system and database engine.

Apologies for the inconvenience. We were actually in the process of migrating the Dictionary to a new server and it looks like the old one objected to this!
