Re: Import wizard and the cancel button
Don't know if anyone else has experienced this but I've lots quite a bit of time because of it. Its not a bug, but a feature that inadvertently helps you to lose hours of work.
When you reach the location matching screen on the import wizard, you merrily sit matching locations with your database. Occasionally you may want to look up a site externally to recorder (on a GIS map or the OS get-a-map website) to check grid ref or place name etc. When you come back to recorder, you click back in the blank box next to the site you were looking up and start typing the name of the location you're looking up. All's fine.
But...if you fail to click precisely on the name box and accidentally click on the frame of the box and start typing, focus is on the Recorder screen rather than in the box and as soon as you hit a letter 'c' this activates the 'Cancel' button and loses your import :(
This also means that all the locations you matched previously are lost and are not remembered when you start the import again, not to mention the time lost in running through the initial import screens again.
Could the keyboard shortcut for the Cancel button be disabled therefore to avoid accidental operation of it?
