Topic: Site Status

Hi,
I would like to change some site statuses in the term list like 'AONB' which is now called 'National Landscape'. But it looks like I can't, probably because these statuses were defined by Recorder centrally? Does it makes sense to edit these statuses directly in the tables in the background or is that dangerous and will it be overwritten by every dictionary update?  Who knows the answers?

Thanks,

Re: Site Status

Hi Wolfgang

IK think that's another one for Mike. The UKSI doesn't hold any information about sites so taxonomy updates shouldn't affect those but I'm not an expert in how R6 handles sites or statuses like AONB :)

Thanks. I've posted it now on another part of the forum.

Re: Site Status

It probably will not do any harm to change them. It is possible that it might get changed back but unlikely. To do things correctly you should create new site status through the terms list and then move any exiting ones to the new status.
