Topic: Add a New/Old Synonym for Paraphytoptus rosae

Chris,

Could you please add the old name of Eriophyes rosae to the entry for Paraphytoptus rosae.  See here: https://www.irmng.org/aphia.php?p=taxde … 0elsewhere

Many thanks.

Re: Add a New/Old Synonym for Paraphytoptus rosae

Hi Steve - just to clarify, we don't seem to have a "Paraphytoptus rosae" and the link you provided gives the name "Phytoptus rosae Mohanasundaram, 1981" but there is also a "Paraphytoptus rosae Domes, 1999" ... so I'm confused ... maybe it's the heat :D

Hi Chris,

Yes, I see what you mean.  Parphytoptus rosae can be found on on Bladmineerders.nl here:
https://bladmineerders.nl/parasites/ani … tus-rosae/

I think you are going to have to pass on this one as I cannot find my original references nor can I remember what it was I was looking at.  Sorry.  Getting older.

Cheers,
Steve
