Topic: Laccobius synonyms, Coleoptera, Hydrophilidae

The NBN has records of both Laccobius atrocephalus and L. ytenensis. The latter is a segregate of atrocephalus and as far as I know the true atrocephalus has never been recorded in UK. I don't have the latest Coleoptera checklist, but I'm sure I would have noticed a report in Latissimus if it had been found here. So I think the records should be merged under ytenensis.

OK, I'll sort that out. Mark Gurney has been working on a batch of Coleoptera updates so he would probably have fed that through to me. I've been delayed working on that though so we keep putting it off :)
