Topic: Request for Addition of Aposthonia ceylonica - Webspinner

Chris,

Could you please add the Webspinner Aposthonia ceylonica (Enderlein, 1912) to the UKSI and beyond.  It has been reported as having a colony in a greenhouse at Wisley.  As other greenhouse adventives are on the database and recorded regularly then perhaps this species should be included.

Details can be see over at:  https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/environm … Bh?ocid=sf  and also at:  https://www.discoverwildlife.com/news/n … r-britain/

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Steve, that was added when it came up in the news. I also added another Embiopteran after it was pointed out that Mark Telfer had had one years previously :)
