Topic: New Harvestman (Scotolemon doriae Pavesi, 1878) Entry Required
Chris,
Could you possibly enter the harvestman Scotolemon doriae Pavesi, 1878 into the UKSI and thereby then on to the NBN webdictionary and the Recorder dictionary please.
It was reported in the latest BAS newsletter as a new harvestman species for Britain and was found in Plymouth. The first Laniatores for the UK. Found in a cemetery where it is "widespread across this site" and found on the "underside of embedded stones overlying small cavities in the soil". It is apparently tiny - less than 2 mm - and orange. Almost dismissed as a large mite when first encountered.
Cheers and thanks.
