Topic: Land Hopper (Arcitalitrus dorrieni (Hunt, 1925))

Chris,

Any chance of the Vernacular Name of Land Hopper being added to the entry on the UKSI (and beyond) for Arcitalitrus dorrieni (Hunt, 1925)  (Species, crustacean)  NON-NATIVE MARINE TERRESTRIAL.

Many thanks.

Re: Land Hopper (Arcitalitrus dorrieni (Hunt, 1925))

Hi Steve

Is that the only species of land hopper in the UK? I'm just a bit worried that the name seems to be used for a group of crustaceans and if we get a second one then it might be more appropriate to have that as a vernacular at a higher rank?

Hi Steve - OK no problem though I have made it "Landhopper" as most sources quote it as a single word  :)
