Topic: New England Red Data List

Hello,
It looks like, I posted this first on the wrong place on the forum. So I post it here again:
Does anybody know, if the latest dictionary upgrades implement the new England Red Data List (http://www.bsbi.org.uk/England_Red_List_1.pdf)?
If not, (when) is it planned to implement the new England Red Data List?

Hi Wolfgang

The Vascular Plant Red Data List is being prepared by the JNCC at the moment because they supply me with any designatory checklists. When they give me the data I will make it available as soon as possible :)

No problem - I actually checked with Dario last week and he says that he has a few other things to do first but hw is working towards adding it. Initially it will be part of the JNCC Designatory checklist but we also talked about perhaps splitting it off as a stand alone list too, so that it might be easier to report on. :)

I have a feeling that this has now been incorporated (I have emailed Dario to check) but we haven't issued an update to the Gateway in quite a while. I should be released in the next day or 2 so watch this space :)

I stand corrected! I have chatted with the JNCC and I created the missing names for them earlier this year (so we have all the taxa) and they have updated the JNCC computer systems but they still need time/resource to issue me an update to the designatory checklist.

I think they hope to be able to issue the update to me before the financial year end but, with the recent spending review, it's difficult to give any timescales.

Is this updated in the most recent Recorder revisions and I've just missed it?
Its not of critical importance; I've created rucksacks for each of the plants within each category. However it would save a bit of time..
