What is the solution if a user of Recorder 2002 v 2.3.1 forgets their password and is unable to log on?  The copy of Recorder is blank; would reinstalling it revert the Default User password to 'password'?

Hi,

I've not tried this but...

If the copy of Recorder is blank...

1. Login to Recorder as a System Manager.
2. Select Tools, then User Configuration...
3. Delete the user with the forgotten password.
4. Re-create the same user with the same rights as before. In theory this will/may reset the default password.

I'm not aware of a specific Reset Password Utility, you can only change the current user's password; maybe something that should be available to System Managers?
