Topic: Wigeon and American Wigeon

It appears that the designations for wigeon have been listed against American wigeon. It is like this in the JNCC designations spreadsheet where American wigeon is given the status of bird:amber and the descriptive info in Recorder is clearly for wigeon.

Hi Graham - if this is a JNCC Designations issue then I will refer it to Dario at the JNCC because he looks after these :)  I will let him report back.

Graham, thanks for raising this problem. I am afraid I don't have a quick answer for it but I shall come to you as soon as I have found out.
