Topic: Request for Additional English/Vernacular Names

Chris,

In my previous posting today I noted that I was perusing the Wildlife Reports section of the April 2015 issue of British Wildlife (Vol. 26, Number 4).  Whilst doing so I noticed, alongside the new species to Britain, that a number of English/Vernacular Names were used which are not within the UKSI as synonyms for the relevant species.  Consequently, here is a request for a number of English Names to be added as synonyms within the UKSI for the specified species - as follows:

- "Slender-horned Leatherbug" (Page 278) - Ceraleptus lividus.
- "Breckland Leatherbug" (Page 279) - Arenocoris waltlii.
- "Downland Bee-fly" (Page 283) - Villa cingulata.
- "Spotted-wing Fruit Fly" (Page 283) - Drosophila suzukii.

Many thanks.
