Topic: A Mix of Addition Requests

Dear Chris,

I am just perusing the Wildlife Reports section of the April 2015 issue of British Wildlife (Vol. 26, Number 4) and notice that there are a number of new species to the British Isles which are currently not shown on the UKSI - these being as follows:

- Bug - Psallus anaemicus - Page 278
- Bug - Psallus helenae - Page 278
- Damselbug - Nabis capsiformis - Page 278
- Lepidoptera - Banded Pine Carpet - Pungeleria capreolaria - Page 282
- Lepidoptera - Pale-shouldered Cloud - Chloanthe hyperici - Page 282
- Tipulid - Pilaria nigropunctata - Page 284
- Muscid - Helina deleta - Page 284
- Chloropid - Lasambia brevibucca - Page 284
- Spider - Philodromus rufus - Page 287 - this seems to now be recognised as a separate species in the UK to P.albidus (from what I can see).

Re: A Mix of Addition Requests

Hi Steve

I have done these:

Psallus (Psallus) anaemicus Seidenstucker, 1966
tvk NHMSYS0021125307
Psallus (Psallus) helenae Josifov, 1969
tvk NHMSYS0021125313

Nabis (Tropiconabis) Kerzhner, 1968
tvk NHMSYS0021125319
Nabis (Tropiconabis) capsiformis Germar, 1838
tvk NHMSYS0021125325

Pungeleria Rougemont, 1903
tvk NHMSYS0021125331
Pungeleria capreolaria (Denis & SchiffermŸller, 1775)
tvk NHMSYS0021125337
Banded Pine Carpet
tvk NHMSYS0021125343

Pilaria nigropunctata (Agrell, 1945)
tvk NHMSYS0021125350

Helina deleta (Stein, 1914)
tvk NHMSYS0021125356

Lasiambia brevibucca (Duda, 1933)
tvk NHMSYS0021125362

I have postponed the moth Chloantha hyperici because it is the new accepted name for that species and the change will come in with David Agassiz's list when we have that ready to import. The spider Philodromus rufus is interesting but I'd prefer to take that as a specific instruction from the BAS or other experts - just so that I can be on the safe side and get the split correct ;)

Thanks again!
