Topic: Welsh Bristle-moss (Orthotrichum cambrense)

Chris,

A double query:

a).  The moss found in Wales at Dryslwyn Castle (Welsh Bristle-moss (Orthotrichum cambrense Bosanquet et F. Lara) appears to be missing from the UKSI.

b).  However, when I searched for the name in the article (see link below) I could not immediately find the Genus in UKSi - this turns out to be because the Genus in the UKSI is spelled as "Orthotrichum" whereas in the article it is spelled "Orthotricum" - I am unsure which is correct though I suspect that the name currently in the UKSI is correct.

Article over at:  http://www.ccgc.gov.uk/about-ccw/newsro … ecies.aspx

Cheers.

Will investigate item #2 but I can't find "Orthortichum" on a quick scan :/

Ooops, sorry Chris - I mistyped that - I meant that "Orthotrichum" was in the UKSI whereas the article spelled it "Orthotricum".

Thanks for the addition.
