Hi Chris

I have Bradysia brevispina to add

details appear p2 here http://www.dipteristsforum.org.uk/docum … s%2015.pdf

Do the other 113 included there need adding as well?

Re: New flies

Hi Gordon

I have added Bradysia brevispina Tuomikoski, 1960 (tvk NHMSYS0021122467) but you raise a very good point that a loto f species were added in that paper. When I joined the Diptera list had drifted out of date quite a lot and I have been addressing it by tackling the missing species as and when they are requested. The more holistic approach would be to update the Diptera checklist completely but the format is quite troublesome and so I have been putting it off rather.

I am just doing a check on the database now to see how many species might be missing and I will see if I can tackle those as a matter of urgency. :)

Best wishes,
Chris R.
