Topic: Dikerogammarus haemobaphes (Demon shrimp)

Hi Chris,

This species is listed on PESI.

It has been found in the UK.

It is mapped on the NBN Gateway (Note TVK).

I can't find it in the UKSI though. If it is absent, it would be helpful if it can be added to assist with recording.

Thanks,
Jim Bacon

By the way, when I say I can't find it in the UKSI, I am referring to the public facing version of this.

Is this the best place for me to be searching?

Re: Dikerogammarus haemobaphes (Demon shrimp)

Thanks Steve! :)

Jim - yes the problem is due to the NHM website being out of date. As my tame developer who used to maintain it for me has left I am currently discussing with the technical guys whether they will let me maintain it from now on. If this goes to plan then it should be updated fairly soon but in the meantime feel free to use the sandbox website as this is currently the most up to date and publically available version :)

Saying that, it looks like I need to add "Demon Shrimp" as a common name :)

Now added:
