Topic: Diptera checklist oddity

Hi
I was searching for diptera records yesterday in R6 and did a 'quick report' search from the diptera checklist within the taxon dictionary. I was surprised to see at the top of the list of dipteran records was a coleoptera! It was a record for Aphodius (Eupleurus) subterraneus. Its definitely not in this checklist so I am not sure why its being returned by the report.

I just checked and this doesn't appear when querying via the report wizard using the same checklist.

Is this something peculiar to our copy of R6 or do others get this anomaly too?

Thanks
Purgle

Re: Diptera checklist oddity

Hi Purgle, I'm not sure why that would happen but I think it is one that is probably best aimed at the Recorder people first and if they do track it to a database problem then I can have a look into it :)
