Hi
I have just added the missing taxon for you:
Sericoderus brevicornis Matthews, A., 1890
tvk NHMSYS0021003243
Adding taxa to the "List of Additional Names" checklist and the master taxonomy & synonymy tables is a very simple and relatively pain free process. But currently if the amendment involves changes to this AND a recommended checklist (where the heirarchy and sort-order is more complicated and many other factors need inputting) then it can be a much more involved task - and hence the updates to core checklists tend to come through at a slower rate. I am looking to improve this process and make it a lot easier to maintain the tables but that is a little way off at the moment :)
I may be wrong but I think that the Suphrodytes dorsalis/figuratus issue should also have been updated earlier this year (if not in Duff's list yet). It was quite a tricky change - to both represent the current taxonomy but also retain the meaning of existing records using the old names. But if anyone does still see a problem then get in touch and I will have a look at it.
Best wishes,
Chris R.
