Yes that's probably one that we don't need to offer to UK recorders - thanks for pointing it out! ;)
Over the years we have tried to mark certain foreign species as 'non-native' or in the Organism flagged as 'redundant'. Unfortunately we have had all sorts of things from zoo animals to butterfly-house escapes added to the database for various reasons. I have been wondering whether we should start to mark a few of the names as redundant if no records have been posted against them OR if they are just no longer required.
