Topic: Non-fungal fungi

The Taxon Dictionary hierarchy in R6 (Dictionaries/Taxon) for the BMS Fungi & Lichen list has a few algae at the top (Nostocales, Trentepohliales, Ulvales).

Re: Non-fungal fungi

Hi Murdo, Thanks for pointing these out - I have queried out the algae and will investigate why they are there. It chimes quite nicely with a few issues that Graham French pointed out to me where there appear to be a mixture of output groups in the same recommended name. Most were fungus/lichen mixes (which are understandable) but a few have needed some changes of output group ... all explainable by human error at the time the names were entered or groups assigned.

Humans responsible again, eh?  Can't someone invent something better?

Thanks, Chris.

When I hand over control to my robot sidekick I will let you know - but it isn't going to be any time soon ;)
