Note that in the 'preferred taxa' list of UK flora in the NBN Species Dicftionary, the name Carex paniculata x remota = C. x boenninghauseniana Weihe     (TaxonVersionKey: NHMSYS0001754810) is actually an error.   It should be: Carex paniculata x remota = C. x boenninghausiana Weihe

Hi Graham

Many thanks for that.I have done some digging and apparently the incorrect name has appeared in print on at least 1 occasion (Fred Rumsey did a quick trawl through his books) so I might have to keep this name and just add the correct one in as the recommended name for it.
