Topic: Bruchia vogesiaca

Hi all,

I recently noticed that Bruchia vogesiaca isn't in any of the Recorder dictionaries - or at least I couldn't find it using an Unrestricted search.  The closest I could get was the Genus Bruchia in the List of additional names.  The species does have a Taxon Version Key - according to the NBN Gateway, NBNSYS0000163957.  I don't need to add any records, so it's not a problem for me that it isn't there, but I was just wondering if there was a reason for it?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Lindsay

I can't comment on the ability to find it in Recorder but it does exist in the database:

Bruchia vogesiaca Schwaegr.

Entered by: xxx (01/01/1999)
Organism: NBNORG0000028993 (parent: NBNORG0000061675)

Has the following names:
Bruchia vogesiaca Schwaegr. (TVK:NBNSYS0000163957)

I hope that helps. It seems to only exist in non-recommended lists so that might be a clue. :)
