Topic: Caddisfly preferred list

I have recently built a caddisfly atlas for the LRC's website (atlas.staffs-ecology.org.uk), and I noticed that the 'preferred' caddisfly checklist in Recorder (i.e. the one prefixed by a space) only includes 47 taxa, missing many of the common species (The RA39 list contains 202 taxa) - is this a problem with my copy of Recorder (dictionary version 10) or is there a serious problem with this list?

Re: Caddisfly preferred list

Hi Craig - this is probably best answered by the Recorder people but in the Species Inventory I have 2 'preferred' lists:
- the 47-name "A review of the Trichoptera of Great Britain", which I presume just lists the rarities (it's what reviews tend to do)
- the 202-name "BRC record card RA39 - Trichoptera", which should list everything known at the time

I'm wondering whether "A review of the Trichoptera of Great Britain" should have its preferred status revoked?
