Re: Species name not synonymising correctly

I've had a strange behaviour of the species dictionary which I think could be because of using different lists, but even so it should NOT be happening:

I imported a spreadsheet containing Trypodendron domesticum (a beetle) - I think this used the Recorder 3.3 list - when I view the records in the Survey window, the record is shown as Xyloterus domesticus in the left panel although correctly as Trypodendron domesticum in the determination tab.

I accidentally thought the record had not been entered because of the synonymy change, so added Trypodendron domesticum again via the "Enter a species record" window which of course defaults to the preferred list rather than the current list - the subsequent record displays Trypodendron domesticum in both the left panel AND the determination window

Surely both these entries should be displaying the same taxonomic name in the left panel !!!!!

Edited to add: according to the Gateway, Trypodendron is the preferred name, so there shouldn't be the translation to Xyloterus anyway!
