Just to let you know that Charles has been working on checking through the dictionary to address known issues which have been causing issues for Recorder and other users. This will also serve to produce a list of preferred names with which we can build a table containing a definitive species hierachy. This work is expected to continue for a few more weeks and the additions of species names are likely to be a secondary priority until then and possibly longer - there is some additional checking and dictionary work scheduled after this.
It is still useful to post species additions as they will create a log, although they are unlikely to be addressed or monitored for a while.

There are several examples of the same A. herodias-type error in the Symphyta hierarchy.  Again, I am not searching for these - they present themselves in the course of doing other routine stuff - so I imagine these are not the only two lists affected.
