Topic: Multiple taxa downloads
I was hoping to get a single download from multiple Families - because that's my recording scheme (https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/sm … e-families)
Thus I entered the following into NBN Atlas search:
Acartophthalmidae; Asteiidae; Aulacigastridae; Braulidae; Camillidae; Campichoetidae; Canacidae; Carnidae; Clusiidae; Diastatidae; Dryomyzidae; Milichiidae; Odiniidae; Opomyzidae; Periscelididae; Piophilidae
Sure it returns every one in a list (oddly including some worms and myriapods) But the only download option I have just returns the same list of Families
To get my download I have to visit the Occurrences link to each Family in that list and fill in the download forms separately for each one. Then wait for the email so that I can match the download filename to each one.
Then string all the downloaded files together to get my single file
What a labour-intensive exercise. Can it be streamlined in any way
P.S. This is the first step on my way to creating publication quality maps in QGIS using FSC tools. Next stop is iRecord, then iNaturalist then maybe GBIF after chucking in some project data.
So many silos
