Hi,
From the result of the report wizard, export in shape file format fails with the following error message:

EOleException : Could not convert variant of type (Null) into type (OleStr)

What is going wrong?

You need to include Spatial_ref field in the report output and this should allow export as a shape file.   Possibly you are trying to include a column in the report which has null values in it. Or perhaps one of the required fields has a null in it.
