Topic: Meligethes symphyti (Heer)

Hi Chris,
I've a checklist from 'Beetles of Hertfordshire, Trevor J. James 2018' and I'm looking to assign recommended TVK/NBN Codes to each species in the list, however I'm stuck with Meligethes symphyti and M. atramentarius as according to UKSI M. symphyti is a synonym for M. atramentarius.

According to Trevor's book they are two separate species, this seems to be backed up by http://www.coleoptera.org.uk/sites/www. … st2012.pdf which states that M. symphyti was added to the Checklist of British Beetles in the second edition published in 2012.

Can you add and entry for M. symphyti?

Ian
