Topic: Trogossitidae/Trogositidae

Chris,

Trogossitidae (TVK NHMSYS0001720454) is marked as redundant. Is this correct? It features in both Duffs 2008 and 2012 checklist. There is also a Trogositidae (with one 's'; TVK NHMSYS0020959395) which isn't marked as redundant.

I think Trogositidae should be a synonym of Trogossitidae? See https://academic.oup.com/aesa/article-a … m=fulltext

(and the redundant flag removed from Trogossitidae ?)

Oh and https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3890666/

The names Trogositidae (from Trogositae Fabricius, 1801) and the correct spelling Trogossitidae (from Trogossitarii Latreille, 1802) are the most modern forms of the name (see Kolibá? and Leschen 2010 for details).
