Topic: Amphitrema flavum - testate amoeba

Hi Chris,
Amphitrema flavum, testate amoeba which lives in sphagnum bogs.
I am unable to trace this name either in PESI or WORMS.
I have seen a reference for it as a synonym of Archerella flavum, but I can't find a reference for this either.

It is quoted in Higley, M (1993). Microscopic Life in Sphagnum. Richmond Publishing. Co. Slough. which was used to identify the specimen.

Thank you

Christine
