Topic: 2 New Fungi From North East UK

Chris,

This publication (Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society) indicates 2 new species of Haptoglossa have been found in the North East of England:  http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1 … x/abstract.

The species being:  Haptoglossa northumbrica and H.polymorphs.

These would appear to require adding to the UKSI.

Cheers.

Steve

Re: 2 New Fungi From North East UK

I've added these - with typo corrected:

org par NBNORG0000002437
Haptoglossa northumbrica Glockling & Beakes
tvk NHMSYS0021157856
Haptoglossa polymorpha Glockling & Beakes
tvk NHMSYS0021157862

They are classed as chromists in UKSI but the line between those groups is a bit vague :)
