Topic: Blastobasis lacticolella Rebel, "1840"

This is the authority date given on the NBN gateway NHMSYS0020676097 but it should be 1940 (Hans Rebel was born in 1861!)

Also I understand it is NOT a synonym (as stated on that gateway  page) of Blastobasis decolorella (Wollaston, 1858) - Rebel's description of lacticolella mentions how it can be differentiated from decolorella. There is an image of Rebel's paper at  lepiforum dot de slash lepiwiki.pl query Blastobasis_Lacticolella which also gives the full citation.

Thanks Keith - I have corrected the authority on lacticolella. The decolorella authority is slightly more complicated because that string can't be edited without it affected the older B&F checklists so I will create a new name for the correct version in Agassiz et. al. and then mark the other one ill-formed :)
