Topic: Marine Zooplankton Needing Adding to UKSI

Chris,

There are a number of species noted in the PDF publications "MARINE ZOOPLANKTON OF SOUTHERN
BRITAIN - Parts 1 & 2 - by David V.P. Conway which need adding to the UKSI and thence to the Recorder family.

These include (as examples):

- Penilia avirostris Dana, 1849
- Pleopis polyphaemoides (Leuckart, 1859)

The above 2 species are in Part 2 of the publication which can be downloaded from the following link:

http://www.mba.ac.uk/nmbl/publications/ … pub_26.pdf

Part 1 can also be downloaded from:  http://www.mba.ac.uk/nmbl/publications/ … pub_25.pdf

Cheers.

Re: Marine Zooplankton Needing Adding to UKSI

Hi Steve

I'm going to have to put those on file for later, unless there are records waiting to go into the system? We have recently updated some of the Cladocera and the MSBIAS list brought in Pleopis polyphaemoides (Leuckart, 1859) [NHMSYS0021049520] so a large number of them will have been tackled, I think.

For now I need to get back onto the Freshwater Algae checklist and then there are Lepidoptera & Auchennoryncha checklists in the wings :)

Best wishes,
Chris R.
