Topic: Dictionary upgrade link wrong

I was about to do upgrades to R6 v.22, and the dictionaries 1X to 23.

On http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/page-4615, the link that claims to be to 0000001X,IY,1Z,20,21,22,23.zip 2.17MB actually points to 0000001V,IW.zip    174KB.

Also, I have a memory that I read last week on the Forum that there was a sequence to be followed if upgrading both R6 and the dictionary, particularly in relation to rebuilding indices, but I can't locate that now.

So before I do anything, would someone please set the link to the correct dictionary upgrade file?

And also please advise on the correct sequence for upgrading R6 and the dictionaries, and rebuilding indices.

I am currently on 6.19 and 1W, standalone, Vista.

Dictionary download problem should be fixed by tomorrown (Tuesday) . It doesn't matter which you upgrade first, but you can save rebuilding the indexes twice by doing the Recorder 6  upgrade first, but not rebuilding the indexes. Then doing the Dictionary upgrade and rebuilding the indexes. The correct order for building the indexes is Taxon Name, Taxon Group, Taxon Synonym and Taxon Designation. This is the order they will appear in after you have upgraded to 6.22.
