Topic: New fungus name, please.

Hello again, Chris.  Would you add Tremella ramalinae to UKSI, please?  Recently found in Morayshire, and yesterday almost at my front door!

That name will be included in the long-awaited update to the BLS lichen and lichenicolous fungi dictionary.

Chris, do you have any idea when this will be available on the NBN and Recorder 6? We have a huge backlog of records to enter.

Thanks, Janet.  If you are interested, you can see my pic at http://www.hbrg.org.uk/Latest.html.  Confirmed by Brian Coppins.

Hi Murdo / Janet

I hope that it will become available in the next 7-10 days. I have been updating the birds and also tidying up lots of ad-hoc changes to the Diptera and to other groups. This is in preparation for taking the database offline when the Marine checklist is ready to be imported. :)

Best wishes,
Chris R.
