Another synonymy problem, Chris.
I am pretty certain that
Bellardia pubicornis (Zetterstedt, [1838]) TaxonVersionKey: NBNSYS0100001923
which has as a synonym
Bellardia puberula (Zetterstedt, [1838]) TaxonVersionKey: NBNSYS0100026266
should also include
Pseudonesia puberula (Zetterstedt, 1838) TaxonVersionKey: NHMSYS0020442458.
At the moment they are returned separately on the Gateway. P. puberula has a designation attached, but the Bellardia version does not.

As a PS, I see that in the R6 export B. pubicornis is given the designation 'Notable', though on the Gateway it is not listed as designated.

Many thanks for spotting that. It is correct in my copy of the database but that's only because you reported it at the end of last year in this thread: http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?pid=14715 :)
Not sure about the designations on the Gateway but it is possible to code a query that preserves designations, irrespective of name changes. I am not sure if this is something that will be sorted out in the latest upgrade to the Gateway ... probably best direct that at Graham :)
