Topic: Rugilus fragilis

Message from NBN Gateway feedback:

Rugilus fragilis with angustatus as a junior synonym does not agree with the latest (Duff, 2012) checklist of beetles of the British Isles. That shows the following synonymy:

RUGILUS Leach, 1819
angustatus (Geoffroy, 1785)
= fragilis (Gravenhorst, 1806)

This has now been done but it required the addition of a new name:
"Rugilus angustatus (Geoffroy, 1785)" tvk:NHMSYS0020977346

to conform with Andrew's checklist - the existing names were all synonyms.
