Re: Coleoptera changes

I posted a request on 9 February but it appears not to have beenh acted upon in the latest dictionary upgrade.  I repeat the request below (my apologies if the matter is in hand):

Owing to a recent species split (qv RES Handbook: Keys to adults of the water beetles of Britain and Ireland (Part 1)), please would you:

1) add Suphrodytes figuratus (Gyllenhal. 1826)
2) add Suphrodytes dorsalis s. str. (Fabricius, 1787)
3) alter Suphrodytes dorsalis (Fabricius, 1787) to Suphrodytes dorsalis s. lat. (Fabricius, 1787)

Also, owing to a recent name change, please would you:

4) alter Stictotarsus multilineatus (Falkenstrom, 1922) to Boreonectes multilineatus (Falkenstrom, 1922)

Thanking you, in anticipation

Rachel

Re: Coleoptera changes

Hi Rachel

I have this one in my "work in progress" - I just wanted to confirm some details with Max Barclay, here at the museum, before adding the records. I will hopefully complete this addition this week and it will filter through to you in the next Recorder update and on the NBN Gateway when it is updated next.

Sorry for the delay but I am picking up a situation that has developed for over a year and am tackling the queries as quickly as I can while I bring myself up to speed with Charles system. Everything on the Forum has been logged here in my database and I will respond to each query, as I get to them :)

Best wishes,
Chris R.
