Re: Goodbye and thanks for all the data!

I should like to take this opportunity to let you all know that I stepping down from running the Species Dictionary when I retire at the end of June.

No need for widespread panic as the Natural History Museum is fully committed to maintaining the Species Dictionary - and indeed fresh blood will help further develop the service.

For anyone who fancies stepping into my shoes, the Museum has just advertised for my replacement. Details can be found at http://www.nhm.ac.uk/about-us/jobs-volu … ternships/ under Current Vacancies. Deadline for applications is 07 March.

Best wishes,

Hi Charles
Just to say thanks for what I know has been a huge effort on your part over the last few years and also to wish you all the best for the coming years. It cannot be easy trying to serve the needs of all the various users of the Species Dictionary!
Best wishes
