Re: Non-native species

Following on from the 2009 NBN Conference, I thought it might be a good idea to get a non-native species, along with relevant designations and facts taken from the NNSS factsheets, into Recorder.

Perhaps there could be an informal designation, or set of designations, for non-native species? For example, "non-native: non-invasive" and "non-native: invasive".

Re: Non-native species

I am expecting a non-native list soon from Mark Hill. This will go into the Dictionary and thence into Recorder. The status can either go UK_NATIVE field in the TAXON_VERSION table (which is a Yes/No field) or, for more detail, into the NOTE field in the TAXON_LIST_ITEM table.
