Re: Hydnangium carneum Wallroth apud Klotzsch in Cheshire - Needs a Dict E

Dear Charles,

In the Autumn of 2007 we had a report of an unusual fungus growing at the base of a Eucalyptus tree in Cheshire.  It took a little bit of tracking down but the fungus turned out to be Hydnangium carneum Wallroth apud Klotzsch.

This is an Australian fungus mainly associated with the Blue Gum Eucalyptus. (See over at: http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/species/Hydn … rneum.html).

We would like to be able to add this species record to the rECOrd database but currently cannot do so as it is not in any of the available dictionaries.  Could I request that it is added as soon as is possible please ??

Many thanks

Cheers and take care.
