Does anyone know if it is possible to run two recorder databses on the same network, or the best data-management solution for the following:

we are currently doing a project across four counties, and getting data into recorder to supply to an academic partner.  Obviously, we can put it all into our networked Recorder 6 in a set of specific surveys, but would then need to remove the out-of county data afterwards (records, sites, etc). 
can more than one "instance" of recorder be kept and switched in and out of, (in the way one could have more than one R2002 databse in the old days), or does anyone have other suggestions?
