I'm currently (since some time over the weekend) not getting maps returned from GridMap. Species names, datasets etc. are coming back OK. When I View Source on the displayed web page I see 'img src = "Null"'. Is there a know problem at present?

I've got some monitoring software on some of the services and some of them have been down since Friday night
Hopefully Jon can restart them shortly

Hi,

yes, I saw they were down at the weekend, but there was nothing I could do until Monday morning.  It was a problem with orphaned connections to the spatial database engine (SDE).  I've been looking into this problem and have a few things I'm going to try to resolve it.  Up until now I've been tidying these connections on a regular basis - but I hadn't done it for a week or so and so this happened. :(

I won't be able to look at it in detail until about 1-2 weeks time.  But this is very high on my priority list.  I'll keep a close eye on it and get it back up asap if it re-occurs - I'll watch out for e-mails from James's monitoring program.
