We have recently had Recorder 6 installed on our server and when I try to enable mapping I get the following error message: Error Code -5: File access denied - C:\Program Files (x86)\Recorder 6 Workstation\Map Files\GBandIreland.gsf - any suggestions?

This looks like you do not have permisson to write to the folder in question. What operating system is on the worksattion ?  With Vista and  Windows 7 installation  the user files must not be in the Program file folder.

I think if you run as Adminstrator when setting up the Map files for the first time you will be OK. Depending on your set up you may be able to do this by right clicking on the Recorder 6 icon and choosing run as adminstrator.  If you aren't having trouble in other areas (ie  Rucksacks) then this suggests that your users files are in fact in a suitable folder.
