Re: Recorder 2002

Hi,

I have been tasked to move the Recorder 2002 databse to another server, I am new to this sofwtare.

From what I can gather, the folloiwng needs to be done:

Copy the the REC2002 shared folder to the new server, re map the clients drive to point to this new server.

Is this correct? are there any other additional steps that need to be taken?

Thanks:rolleyes:

Re: Recorder 2002

Thats pretty much it Foxxxi. One thing to be aware of. The "client" install of Recorder 2002 writes settings to the registry and there will be absolute drive+path mapping in there. If you map your new server's drive to the same as the old one, then I think you should be ok.

Have a look in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/JNCC/Recorder/Settings

Cheers.
