I've found yet another problem in the species indexes of Recorder 6

Blastobasis lacticolella (B&F No. 874) has no preferred Taxon Version Key while
Blastobasis decolorella its synonym appears to be a preferred taxon, but doesn't report on any records entered as B.lacticolella

I have been unable to check if this is correct on the NBN Gateway or not as the Gateway appears to be down at the moment (8:30 Nov 19)

NBN Gateway now running again - I've checked and it handles B.lacticolella and B.decolorella correctly and has a preferred TVK - NHMSYS0020676097

If Recorder is going to be any use for serious recording errors like this need to be sorted VERY QUICKLY :(

I have just checked the Recorder species dictionary and if I got my SQL correct, I think there are 592 taxa with no preferred Taxon Key (37 are taxa added here at SER, but that still leaves 555) - in fact they have no entry in the NameServer - there appears to be an urgent need to get these sorted as I assume records attached to any of these species will not report properly

When reporting taxon dictionary problems could everyone please ensure that they report them in the Species Dictionary part of the forum. This one being in ‘Troubleshooting and Bug Reports’ prompted me to check whether Charles Hussey would pick it up. He responded saying that he gets automatic notification of posts to the Species Dictionary part of the Forum but not the Recorder part. I have alerted him to the problems in this topic but please note that because of the work he refers to in http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?pid=7905#p7905 he won’t be responding to forum posts for a while. This is part of the work Mike mentioned in http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?pid=8068#p8068 (post #8).
