Does anyone know which version of Recorder 2002 was the last one issued on a CD. ?

The latest Recorder 2002 installation CD installs version 2.3.1.0. It is the coloured one with a picture of a bee nectaring on a cowslip on it. However, the latest version is 2.3.7.8 which was issued in March 2005. To obtain the latest version of the software you need to install the version on the CD (v2.3.1.0) then upgrade to v2.3.6.5 then to v2.3.7.8 using the upgrades from http://www.jncc.gov.uk/page-4598 . Depending on the power of your PC, the upgrade to version 2.3.6.5 may take upwards of one hour because it is adding a number of checklists to the taxon dictionary. Please allow plenty of time for it to complete. The upgrade to version 2.3.7.8 also adds checklists to the taxon dictionary but it does not take quite as long. If you have Recorder 2002 but not a copy of the latest installation CD, JNCC should be able to supply it. Alternatively, I have a few to spare.

I am also looking for the latest version 2.3.7.8 Recorder. But as you say to obtain the latest version of the software i need to install the version on the CD (v2.3.1.0) and then upgrade to v2.3.6.5 then to v2.3.7.8 using its site. But here the problem is that I am not having its CD (v2.3.1.0) version, so how can I directly go for it? Please help me out.
