I have noticed a problem if you try to copy data from certain fields in Recorder as follows:

1) select a record in the Observation Window, I don't think it matters which, but certainly a sample produces the error
2) switch on editing for the record
3) select the contents of a field - I usually use the grid reference
4) this immediately causes a crash of Recorder (can't print out error message at this time, but if no-one else has the problem I will do) - selecting 'Continue' Recorder is fine with no further problem, but any attempt to copy data whilst in edit-mode causes the error
